Art, Science, and Culture in a Climate-driven Collaboration
Visualizing Coastal Climates, Global Futures
Our Vision
Create a cascade of awareness around coastal climate impacts, compounding stressors, and global implications, by empowering under-resourced, outstanding artists and their communities across oceans, seas, and ecosystems, in collaboration with high-performing, early-career climate scientists and leading scientific, cultural, and art advisors, to jointly publish and share an impactful, science- and culturally informed fine art compilation.

The oceans are rising....
So are their Visual Storytellers.
Our Goals
Create a powerful collaborative fine art publication & exhibition featuring science- & culturally informed visual representations of coastal (across diverse regions) to global climate impacts, compounding threats, & future worst- & best-case scenarios.
Amplify coastal to global climate awareness & inspire action by actively sharing a unified compilation of artwork & scientific/cultural narratives through freely downloadable publication, exhibitions, online viewing, & community/stakeholder presentations.
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development among under-resourced artists and early-career climate scientists through mutual growth, international cross-disciplinary collaboration, and engagement with leading cultural, art, and scientific advisors.

We are all connected...amidst devastation, there is hope...amidst chaos there is beauty... and standing in the middle of it, weaving it all together--there is art.
"Oser le pas qui change la vie...Dare the step that changes your life.”
--Nicolas Lavarenne, Sculptor "Défi" (sculpture depicted here taking a “leap of faith” over the ocean's edge (merci Monsieur Lavarenne))
...and in this case, the step that changes LIVES.

Traditional fine art across every ocean to translate coastal climate stories into the visual narratives –– one shoreline, one brushstroke, one medium –– at a time....coming in 2027!
Fading pigments
The silent reef
Cryosphere memory
A series of hand-woven kelp tapestries dyed with temperature-sensitive organic pigments that fade as water temperature data rises.
Sculpted porcelain sound-horns that amplify the low-frequency vibrations of dying coral reefs, recorded in partnership with marine bioacousticians.
Large-format cyanotype prints exposed using melting glacial meltwater, capturing the chemical signatures of disappearing ice shelves.
A Global Climate Movement
Scientifically- & culturally informed...
Visually rendered by hand.
